Explore beautiful countryside such as Landgoed de Utrecht
Welcome to the Brabant Kempen, a beautiful region in Brabant known for its varied landscapes with many forests, heathlands, fens, authentic farms and welcoming villages. Whether you want to explore the area on foot or by bike, there is plenty to see! From the holiday park, for example, you can walk straight into the Kempse Bossen. You are also within 8 minutes' cycling at Landgoed de Utrecht, where the 25-metre-high viewing tower D'n Flaestoren offers fabulous views over the fen area.
Tip: Feeling hungry or thirsty after a hike or bike ride? Take a break at the cosy Inn 'In Den Bockenreyder' for a cup of coffee, a hearty bacon spread or a tasty ice cream sundae.
Whill you spot a kingfisher at Gorp Estate & Roovert?
From Summio Parc Duc de Brabant, there are even more beautiful natural areas to discover! For instance, half an hour's cycle away you can find De Rovertsche Heide, where you can spot birds such as the goshawk, buzzard and nightjar. Landgoed Gorp & Roovert (also called 'the little paradise of Brabant’) offers quaint pathways you can stroll along, following the meandering streams of river De Leij. Can you spot the kingfisher in its natural habitat?
Visit Safaripark Beekse Bergen
Fancy a day at the zoo? A 20-minute drive away you will find Safaripark Beekse Bergen, the largest wildlife park in the Benelux! Here you can go on safari on foot, by bus, boat or in your own car as you discover more than 100 unusual animal species such as giraffes, elephants, rhinos and lions. Experience a day in Africa with the whole family!
Tip: nearby Speelland Beekse Bergen is also a must. There’s endless fun to be had, from playing in the playground, enjoying a game of miniature golf, having fun on the pedalos, or enjoying a picnic on the beach.
Discover a world of wonders at the Efteling
Half an hour's drive from Summio Parc Duc de Brabant is the Efteling, one of the most popular theme parks in the Netherlands! Discover the magical Fairytale Forest, take a ride on thrilling roller coasters such as the Python or enjoy spectacular shows. Take a city trip to Brabant's nicest cities
Near the holiday park are several Brabant towns and cities worth visiting. Admire amazing architecture, go shopping, visit a museum or enjoy a bite to eat or drink at the many restaurants. Highly-recommended attractions such as the DAF Museum and the Philips museum can be found in the design city of Eindhoven. Modern art and culture can be enjoyed to the full in the creative city of Tilburg. Breda and Den Bosch are also two lovely cities for a city trip during your stay at Summio Parc Duc de Brabant.
Visit a brewery and enjoy a variety of beers
For true beer lovers, a visit to the La Trappe Trappist tasting room is not to be missed! Book a guided tour of the distinctive buildings where Trappist beers were created and taste various Trappist beers. Moreover, Summio Parc Duc de Brabant is located on the blue La Trappe cycling route. While cycling this 51-kilometre route, you will learn all about the history of the beer brand and pass pleasant places like Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek. For even more enjoyment, Bierbrouwerij De Roos, the only authentic village brewery in the Netherlands, also comes highly recommended. Take a guided tour, visit the museum or savour the most refreshing Bikse beers in the tasting room.
Enjoy exploring the Loonse and Drunense Dunes
The Loonse en Drunense Duinen offer a varied landscape, from forest and heathland to lots of sand. It is one of the largest drift sand areas in western Europe. This special nature reserve is also known as the 'Brabant Sahara'! Here you can go on a wonderful walking or cycling trip through nature, and enjoy complete peace and quiet. Horseback riding or mountain biking through this beautiful nature reserve is also highly recommended.

Climb and scramble at Outdoor Park Reusel
In the woods near Reusel, you can really challenge yourself at Outdoor Park Reusel. The climbing forest offers several courses, a zip line, a 26-metre high observation tower as well as experience ground-based activities such as hand archery. Discover the magic of Dierenrijk
At Dierenrijk in Eindhoven, you can admire animals such as cheetahs, tigers, rhinos and chimpanzees up close. Children can enjoy climbing and scrambling in one of the playgrounds.
