Enjoy the beautiful Zeeland countryside during a bike ride
Schouwen-Duiveland, the island where the park is located, offers breathtaking surroundings of dune landscapes, sandy beaches, dykes, polders and vast forests. It is a paradise for nature lovers and for lovely bike rides and walks. You will also encounter exceptional flora and fauna. A visit to Oosterschelde National Park with its unique bird species is recommended in any case. Krekengebied Ouwerkerk nature reserve is also worthwhile! Simply hire a bike, electric bike or e-chopper at our park to explore the island.
Enjoy the best water sports activities on Lake Grevelingen
The beautiful Lake Grevelingen is right by the park. It is the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe. You can hire a canoe, standup paddleboard or sailing boat at Aquavitesse sailing school in Bruinisse for a wonderful day on the water. Take some sandwiches along and have a picnic on the way on one of the many islands. If you'd like an active day on the water, Zeil- & Surfcentrum Brouwersdam Active Lakeside in Ouddorp is highly recommended. At only a 30-minute drive from Summio Parc Aquadelta, it has everything you need for fun water sports activities. You can go windsurfing, sailing and many more water sports. No experience? No problem, you can also take lessons!
Marvel at charming villages in Zeeland
The lovely centre of Bruinisse is a three-minute cycle ride from Summio Parc Aquadelta. This picturesque fishing village is known for its delicious fish dishes and lively marina. Zierikzee is also a charming town with a rich history, where you can also enjoy shopping or book a boat tour to spot porpoises. The popular coastal resort of Renesse is a 30-minute drive from the holiday park. There you can enjoy wonderful clean, wide sandy beaches, lovely beach bars and fun activities such as spotting seals.
Tip: go on a day trip to Goes or Middelburg
You can visit one of Zeeland's islands from Summio Parc Aquadelta. Goes in Zuid-Beveland or Middelburg in Walcheren are definitely worthwhile!
Visit the Flood Museum
There are plenty of options for interesting excursions in the area around the holiday park. A trip to the Flood Museum in Ouwerkerk is certainly worthwhile! You learn all about the floods of 1953. Your children can go on treasure hunts and do tasks in the child-friendly youth flood museum. An impressive excursion for all!
Climb and clamber in Klimbos Westerschouwen
If you would like to enjoy a thrilling outdoor activity above the ground, we recommend Klimbos Westerschouwen in Burgh-Haamstede. You go from tree to tree on ziplines, rope ladders and wobbly bridges. There are six challenging tracks in the climbing forest for beginners as well as the more experienced. Will you take on the challenge?
Take a day trip to a vibrant city
You are in the right place for trips to cities too. Located at about a 30-minute drive from the Belgian border, a trip to Antwerp is easily combined during your stay at Summio Parc Aquadelta. Enjoy culinary delights, have fun shopping or visit one of the many museums. You can do it all! The port city of Rotterdam and the exuberant Breda are less than a one-hour drive from the holiday park.
